What Premium is for

  • Your logbook is safe. Lose or replace your phone and every dive is still in your account, ready on the new one.
  • Years of dives, not just new ones. Bring your MacDive, Subsurface or UDDF history across, profiles and all. See the import guides.
  • Logging without typing. Download dives straight from your dive computer over Bluetooth, on the boat. See which computers.
  • A bigger screen. Your logbook, profiles, map and statistics on diveology.com.au, on any computer.
  • Diving together. Link a dive with your buddy's and see both profiles on one chart.

Subscriptions, plainly

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription through Apple: A$7.99 a month or A$79.99 a year in Australia, charged to your Apple Account. New subscribers get the first week free. It renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it at any time in your iPhone's Settings. The full terms are in the terms of use.

Questions

How does the free week work?

New subscribers get the first week of Premium free. Subscribe in Diveology for iPhone, under Account, Premium. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the week ends, you pay nothing. If not, the plan you chose starts and renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Diveology. You can also get there from Account, Premium in the app. Premium carries on to the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What happens to my logbook if Premium ends?

Nothing is deleted. Everything on your iPhone stays there and keeps working, free, and you can always export it. Sync and the website stop, and your account keeps your dives until you delete it. Subscribe again and it picks up where it stopped.

Do I need an account?

No. The free app needs none, and you can subscribe to Premium without one: dive computer downloads unlock on the phone straight away. An account, made in the app with Sign in with Apple or a passkey, adds what needs one: backup and sync, the website, imports and buddy links.

Monthly or yearly?

The same Premium either way. Yearly is A$79.99, about 10 months' worth of the monthly A$7.99. You can change between them in your subscription settings.

What does it cost outside Australia?

Prices here are in Australian dollars. Apple sets the matching price in every other country it sells in, and the App Store shows yours, with any tax, before you buy.

Is Premium shared with my family?

No, Premium is for one diver. Each buddy needs their own Premium for buddy links.

Can I buy Premium on the website?

No. Premium is sold through the App Store, in Diveology for iPhone, and it opens your logbook on the website once you sign in with the same account.
